Editorial policy
In short: How this website's content is written, where its facts come from and how mistakes are corrected.
Where does the product information come from?
Product names, descriptions, prices, stock levels and photos come from The Coin Shop's own listings. Mintages, weights and specifications are quoted from each piece's listing.
How are figures kept consistent?
Stock counts, prices and category totals shown anywhere on the site are generated from the same listings when the site is built, so they cannot disagree with the product pages. The spot prices in the bar at the top of each page are live market figures from a third-party feed, shown for reference only.
Is AI used to write it?
Parts of this website, including some page text, titles and descriptions, were drafted with the help of AI tools and checked by our web designer, Oneway Web Design, against The Coin Shop's own listings and policies. Automated tools may also suggest updates to page titles, descriptions and answers; new answers are reviewed by a person before they appear. [CONFIRM: The Coin Shop has read and approved every page]
